What we keep, and why.
Bayerische Motoren asks for a name, a car, and a VIN so we can match an engine. That is the reason. We do not sell that information. We do not use it to follow you across other websites.
The VIN
A VIN identifies a car. Treat it as private. Send it on the check page when you want a match. You do not need to send the whole registration paper. The seventeen digits and the listing name are enough to start.
Notes you type
The forms on this site keep your note in the browser so you can read it back. They do not, by themselves, email a company inbox. If a later reply path is added, we will say so on the page before you send.
Cookies
This store does not use advertising cookies. If a cookie is added later, it will be named on this page first.
How long
We keep an order, a certificate, and a warranty note for as long as the promise on that engine can still be asked about, and a short time after, so a dispute has a record. You can ask us what we still hold about your order.
